On the other hand, the utilitarian theory posits to the effect that the choice that yields the greatest public assistance to the most people is the choice that is ethically correct, (Rainbow, 2002). In this particular case, it seems that the promulgation of a public health policy will benefit the majority of the people hence it is ethically correct to implement it within the workplace. The other theory that is applicable to the above mentioned case is the rights theory.
